Document sharing platform StuDocu raises $50m

Edtech knowledge exchange platform StuDocu has closed $50 million in Series B funding to further grow to reach 200 million college and university students globally.

The funding from Partech will also help to expand the StuDocu team.

Currently the platform, which allows students to share study materials – lecture notes, summaries and practice materials – and exchange knowledge with fellow students, reaches 15 million students from 2,000 universities across 60 countries.

“StuDocu is now in a very strong position to accelerate our global roll-out which will bring us closer to reaching our goal of helping students worldwide make the most of their studies,” said Marnix Broer, CEO and co-founder of StuDocu.
